When people get interior design right, it becomes a real pleasure for the casual observer. I was lucky enough to stay at a mutual friend's house in Paris, who decorated his Parisian apartment in the most delighful way. The pictures below really don't do it justice (I took many more, but must have deleted them during a drunken stupor). His daughter's room was so cool: she referenced the whole 50's pin-up and funky 70's and 80's, whereas her dad was more into the baroque and rococo style or "emperor-style." Together, this father and daughter duo could launch a thousand interior design trends. Secret to their success: regular Paris flea-market attendance.
